Your Favourite Winter Adventures

Winter is coming. I know this not only from the date on the calendar, shortened days, nip in the air, and hints of snowflakes but from my intensifying desire to stay inside bundled up in a blankie and eat comfort food (ALL of the comfort food).

I’ve weathered all of my winters in Canada (never having flown south) either on the east coast, west coast or somewhere in between. After living in Vancouver for the past six years, I have become soft. I’ll be the first to admit it. Vancouver winters, at their worst, are comparable to another province’s Fall…but with a lot (and I mean A LOT) more rain. Continue reading
